Sometimes a video has had its run, or you uploaded the wrong file. Deleting is quick, but it is final.
From the dashboard
- Hover over the video card you want to remove.
- Click the trash icon underneath the card.
- Confirm in the dialog.
From the video page
- Open the video.
- Click Delete Video near the top of the page.
- Confirm in the dialog.
Deletion is permanent. We do not keep a copy you can restore. If a video matters to you, download a backup before you delete.
What happens after you delete
- The video file and its thumbnail are removed from storage right away.
- The storage they were using becomes available straight away in your meter.
- Any existing share links and embed codes will stop working and show "Video not found" to viewers.
- The view stats for that video are removed from your analytics totals.
Want to keep the video but stop sharing it
