Managing your billing details

All of your billing lives in the Polar customer portal. Polar is the payments partner that handles checkout, invoices and subscription management for Vidreno. You can open the portal in one click from inside the app.

How to open the portal

  1. Open the Billing page from the sidebar.
  2. You'll see your current plan, your storage usage, and a list of any active subscriptions and recent orders.
  3. Click the button to change your plan and billing details. The Polar customer portal opens in a new tab.

You can also open the portal from the Pricing page if you click your current plan button while you're on a paid subscription.

What you can do in the portal

Action Where
Update your card Payment methods section
Download an invoice Orders or invoices list
Switch between Standard and Premium Subscription management
Cancel your subscription Subscription management
Update billing email Account section

The portal opens in a new tab and is hosted by Polar. When you're done, just close the tab. Your changes sync back to your Vidreno account automatically.

A note on invoices

Every payment generates a tax friendly invoice in Polar. You can download them as PDFs whenever you need them for expenses or accounting.
