Sometimes one video needs its own look: a campaign with a special colour, a guest appearance, a launch day video. You can override the player colour for one video without touching your global brand colour.
Where to find it
- Open the video page.
- Scroll to the Player Color section, just under the thumbnail.
- You'll see a colour picker, a hex input, and a small preview swatch.
How the override works
If you haven't set a colour for this video, the player uses your brand colour (set on the Branding page). If you have set a colour here, that colour wins, but only for this one video.
| Source | When it applies |
|---|---|
| Per video colour | Always wins when set |
| Global brand colour | Used when no per video colour is set |
| Vidreno default | Used when neither is set |
Setting and resetting
- Pick a colour using the picker, the presets, or the hex input.
- Click Save.
- To go back to your brand colour, click Reset.
The override applies everywhere the video appears: the public watch page, the player URL, and any iframe embeds. You don't need to update embed codes when you change the colour.
